1. What is Wointz?

Wointz is a new site designed to service the marketing needs of small to mid-size web publishers.  Wointz was created in order to provide web publishers with a way to professionally promote their websites at no cost.  This fits perfectly within the budget of all publishers!

2. How can this service be offered for free?

The answer is quite simple.  As a participating user, you earn points by displaying ads from the Wointz network on your websites.  Points that you earn are then used to show your ads on other participating Wointz Websites.  In order to offer this service free of charge, a small percentage of Wointz Ads are reserved to display 'paid-for' advertising. This revenue is used to offset the cost of the free service.

3. How does the points system work?

4. Is there any commitment or financial obligation required to register?

There is no financial obligation or commitment necessary to join Wointz. Register today and try the service absolutely risk free!

5. Do I have to show Wointz ads on all of my sites?

The answer is no.  As long as you have points available, you can create advertisements for any webpages that you like.  For instance, suppose you had two websites, website A and website B.  On website A, you pasted the code provided by Wointz to show Wointz ads (this is how you earn points) and on website B, you did not paste any code.  The points earned by website A are put into a central pool of points that can be used to show ads for any of your websites, including website B.

6. I don't want to advertise my sites but just use your ad rotation service. Is this allowed?

This is permitted. If you just want to use our ad rotation service, then please feel free to do so. However, note that you are required to have points to use the ad rotation service.  In the event that you do not have sufficient points, an Ad from the Wointz network will be displayed in place of one of your rotated ads. This will grant you points and allow you to continue to use the ad rotation service for free.  In general, the number of points required to rotate in one of your ads is 1/20 of the number of points required for normal Wointz service. See the points table for details.  The reason for requiring points for the rotation service is to help offset the cost of this free service.

7. My site doesn't have enough traffic to generate a lot of points. Can I buy points?

This feature is not yet available but will be added soon.

8. What types of ads are allowed?

Please review the program policies and the requirements set forth in the end-user agreement.

9. I have lots of points, why am I not generating very many impressions?

This may be a result of the ad size you have chosen to create.  Since ads of a particular size will only be shown on sites that host those ad sizes, it may be that you chose an unpopular ad size.  To avoid this type of situation, it is recommended that you create at least one ad for each of the ad sizes listed.  This will ensure maximum exposure for your site.
